Born Out of Oilfield Experience

Precision Compression LLC was founded on a straightforward principle: well operators deserve compression equipment that works as hard as they do. For decades, our leadership team worked on the operator side of the business—managing production wells, handling artificial lift programs, and struggling with unreliable rental compression packages. We experienced firsthand the frustration of over-engineered, unreliable equipment, unpredictable custom parts availability, and field technicians who didn’t understand production dynamics. We knew there had to be a better way to handle wellsite gas compression. We established Precision Compression to fix these industry flaws. We eliminated custom-build delays, standardized our fleet around rugged 4.3L and 8.0L EPA-certified engines, and built an automated intelligence platform (Precise Sync™) specifically designed to eliminate nuisance engine shutdowns.

We take immense pride in our roots. Every Precision Compression skid is engineered, welded, wired, painted, and tested under one roof at our headquarters in Weatherford, Texas. Located in the heart of the Texas oil patch, our facility employs expert fabricators, certified welders, and skilled automation engineers who understand the demanding conditions our iron must face.

Brian Benge

Founder/President

Brian has over 20 years’ experience in the upstream E&P and Oilfield Service sectors. Prior to founding Precision, he held numerous positions from Production Superintendent to VP of Operations of several private upstream E&P companies. He was also the Operations Manager for a full-service oilfield services company servicing the Barnett area of North Texas. Over his career, he has managed wells all over Texas, including the Barnett and Eagle Ford areas. Based on this experience, he developed the patented Precision PC compressor to help other operators lower cost and optimize production.

Ryan Benge

Executive Vice President

Ryan Benge has served as Vice President since April of 2016. His focus is to build quality products and to help educate customers on “state-of-the-art” technology. Ryan’s career started as a Regional Salesman for Valerus Compression from May 2011 to September 2012 and continuing as Director of Sales for RES Energy Solutions from October 2012 to March of 2016 before joining Precision at its inception. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Christian University. GO FROGS!
